New clients, including part time residents and visitors, are always welcome. Your pet's previous medical history is always helpful. Those records can be faxed from your previous/current veterinary office to ours. If those records are received prior to your first appointment, our staff has an opportunity to review any pertinent medical history before you arrive. In addition, we can enter reminders into our computer system so you are notified when your pet's vaccines are due. On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a new client form, to expedite this process you can download and complete this form then bring it with you. |

Surgery, dental and other procedures requiring anesthesia are performed 5 days per week at our offices. We recommend bloodwork prior to any anesthetic procedure. This bloodwork is beneficial in detecting internal organ disorders before your pet becomes seriously ill. It also provides valuable baseline levels for comparison should your pet become ill in the future. Bloodwork can be performed the morning of any procedure. There is no need for a separate appointment. All patients being admitted for a procedure requiring anesthesia are required to arrive between 8:30-9:30 am the day of the procedure. Patients should not be fed that morning but water is permitted until they are admitted to the clinic. A consent form will need to be completed for each procedure. To expedite check in on the day of the procedure, you can download these forms and bring the completed form with you. Patients can be picked up between 4:30-5:30 pm the day of surgery unless otherwise specified. Cats/kittens being declawed are hospitalized 2 nights but can go home anytime on the third day. |
